I started Monday morning and I felt pretty good most of the day. I wasn't overly hungry and I found my hunger was satified when I did eat my meals. Tuesday wasn't so good. I wasn't as prepared for my day. I had a crazy week of running around and it may not have been the best time to undertake this cleanse. I wasn't hungry until I went to Target Tuesday after noon and then my family inflicted a cruel form of torture having pizza for dinner. In addition I had a headache for most of the day and I think that was my caffeine withdrawal making itself known. I had had green tea Monday morning but ran out of time to make it before I had to dash out the door Tuesday morning. Some excedrin migraine saved the day at bedtime. Wednesday I was a little better prepared to face the day, but I didn't get to eat my meals at the times I needed to and by the time I was ready to eat dinner I was ready to gnaw my own arm off. But once I ate I was satisfied and full.
But Brenda, you said it was worth it? it doesn't sound like it.
It certainly was worth it: I lost 6.5 pounds and 1" from my waist and 2" inches from my hips
Not bad for 3 days! If you had asked me Wednesday night if I would do it again, I would have answered hell no, but this morning looking at my results and I having hopped on the scale this morning and seeing another pound gone, I will definitely use this again! I think the key is timing and preparation, making sure to eat or at least drink some tea every 2 hours and having what you need prepped and ready to go so when you need to eat you don't have to wait to long to prepare it. The dinner recipes that I had were really good and will make very good side dishes in the future and I also figured out on the last day a good flavor boost for the Vanilla fresh protein shake.
So now it's back to P90X3 and marathon training. Liz and I registered for the Glass Slipper Challenge in Disney World in February. Stay tuned for progress reports.
